Comfort and community for NICU families

Saul’s Light is a New Orleans-based nonprofit that provides support and community to families with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
The emotional and financial toll of a NICU experience can affect families for a lifetime.
Even a brief stay in the NICU can be devastating for parents and their families, both emotionally and financially. Many experience long-term psychological stress and struggle to cover the costs, from expensive medical care to loss of work, travel, meals, and childcare.

About Saul’s Light
Saul’s Light was founded in 2015 by Kimberly and Aaron Novod after the passing of their son, Saul, in a New Orleans NICU. Today, we partner with hospitals, local organizations, and healthcare professionals to provide resources and support so that no parent endures the NICU experience alone.

We dream of a world where every baby is born strong and healthy. But the next best thing is to help NICU parents get the necessary resources and emotional support they need in their time of crisis, and beyond. Your support helps us support NICU families in our community every day.
